Recently, at the construction site of the Chongqing Glass Testing Center project, the workers were fully engaged in the work, scaffolding construction, water and electricity installation, steel construction... The scene was very busy.
The glass testing laboratory is the core area of the center. Safety glass visible light transmittance meter, collimating telescope, optical distortion instrument, wear meter, haze meter, radiation resistance detector, constant temperature and humidity test chamber, human head model impact test machine, penetration resistance test will be added in the laboratory. Nearly 20 kinds of professional glass quality inspection and testing instruments such as machine, impact resistance testing machine, debris state exposure machine and edge stress meter.
In order to guarantee the authority of testing and certification, the center has initially set up a management and technical team composed of more than 20 people. More than 85% of the team has a bachelor's degree or above, including 1 doctor, 8 masters, 4 senior technical titles, 5 intermediate titles, and 6 have obtained the compulsory product certification (safety glass) factory inspector qualification. “Since the construction started in January this year, we have completed the construction of the foundation and the negative layer structure, and the construction of the standard floor (four floors in total) is underway.” The person in charge of the project site, Mao Zhu, introduced the total amount of the project. %, it is expected that the main construction will be completed by the end of August this year, enter the indoor and outdoor decoration and equipment installation stage, and strive to complete the project before the end of this year. After the completion of the center, it is not only the designated laboratory for compulsory product certification for automotive glass in the Southwest, but also a designated laboratory for compulsory product certification covering both architectural glass and automotive glass in the western region. This marks a solid step for Wansheng to build a new industrialization demonstration base for new glass materials in the southwest region, which will bring agglomeration effects to the glass industry and help Wansheng achieve the “glass dream”. |
